I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – Alaska Airlines is the nicest airline I’ve encountered (though I must admit the Customer Service team of American Airlines is pretty nice too).
This year, I held MVP Gold 75K status with Alaska Airlines as a result of a status match.
Alaska Airlines continues to show its awesomeness! Today I received an email offering a holiday gift. The email says:

|We’ve had a wonderful year flying with you. In the spirit of the season, we have three hand-picked holiday gifts for you to choose from, as a thank you for being one of our valued Mileage Plan customers.
Happy holidays, from our family to yours.
It then gives me the choice between 2 Gold Guest upgrades, 2 Board Room day passes or 2 Gogo Inflight passes, each good through December 31, 2016. I will probably choose the Gold Guest upgrades.
