I won’t accuse you of living under a rock, but I’ll admit I have. I knew Amazon Prime Day was coming, but I was pre-occupied with so much (first, the flu last week, then family emergencies over the weekend, compounded by having a medical procedure [colonoscopy] yesterday). Suffice it to say, while others were prepping for Prime Day, I was prepping for something entirely different! So, I have been away from blogging for a few days (though it was always on my mind!).
So, here we are – Amazon Prime Day – There are so many deals!
Will and Chuck over at the Doctor of Credit Blog have compiled (and keep updating) a list of Prime Day Deals (Do those guys ever sleep?). You should definitely have a look there.
Here are some banners of top deals.
Keep an eye on the sales on this Amazon Prime Day page for items or services you might be interested in.
I will try to write a post on good running and fitness Amazon Prime Day deals later on. Or, it might be fun to compile a list of everyone’s favorite Prime Day deals. Like Stefan of Rapid Travel Chai – who’s extremely excited about the Merrell Jungle Moc Shoe Deal!
Not an Amazon Prime Member – go to this page. You can sign up for a free trial, a student membership or a full year membership. This page is kind of an everything you wanted to know about Amazon Prime, but forgot to ask page. I’ve had Amazon Prime for a few years. For me, it’s worth it for the TV shows alone.
Here are some great deals to focus on:
First – Gift Cards, of course.
Second – Save $20 off $60 worth of household essentials. I mean … who can’t fill a shopping cart with $60 worth of household products?
A DOT AND A DASH
Third – I’m kind of fascinated by the Dash Buttons – they are like Tribbles for shopping! And now, with them on sale for 99 cents, you can save $5.99 on the dash products of your choice!
For me, it makes total sense to order a Dash Button for something like Charmin, Tide or Bounty – products I use and reorder again and again (and which are nice to have to schlep home from a store).
Alexa is Amazon’s voice ordering program and can be found in the Echo and Echo Dot products. Of course, you can ask Alexa many Siri-like questions too. Hey, Alexa what’s the weather? Is this the voice of the future? Amazon is promoting Alexa by offering many Alexa-only deals. Check here: Hey, Alexa What Are Your Prime Day Deals? or here: Hey, Alexa What are Your Deals?
Are these special deals enough to transform us all to HEY, ALEXA peeps? Just curious, are you voice shopping using an Echo or Echo Dot product? Are they the way of the future?
“Alexa, sign me up for Prime” For Prime Day, Alexa device owners who are not yet Prime members can sign up for their first year of Prime membership for just $79, a $20 savings, for a limited time. Customers simply say, “Alexa, sign me up for Prime” using their Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show or Amazon Tap.
Bonus Offer with Alexa – Get $10 off on an Alexa Deal of $20 or more today.
And $10 off your first Alexa reorder of an item.
With all these promotions, and even a $5,000 sweepstakes, I might just have to order an Echo Dot.
