I really like the Athletic-Minded Traveler maps. They are thorough and detailed, but interesting and easy to follow. This jogging map provides essentially two choices: run the loop around the Capitol (1.2 miles) or venture out to the American River Bike Trail for three miles and back for a total of 6 miles, though its easy to tailor a longer run, since the trail goes on for more than 25 miles.
