Do you have a friend who just knows how to throw a party right? She – or he – always invites the perfect people, serves delicious food and makes you feel both welcome and special? You marvel at her – or his – talent to effortlessly bring such wonderful people together for such a memorable event?
Well, that describes the Kimpton hotels to a T! The Kimpton team just know how to do it right! Whether it is running a hotel or planning a party – they make it look so easy – somehow they even plan good weather! Simply stated, I’ve never met a Kimpton hotel, employee or event I didn’t love.
I thus was predictably excited when Katherine Brooks, the Marketing Coordinator for Kimpton’s NYC Hotels, sent me an email inviting me to the Taste of New York event at the Eventi Hotel:
Autumn is upon us and what better way to honor the flavors of the season than to join Eventi, A Kimpton Hotel andTaste NY in sampling New York-made wine, beers, ciders, spirits, cheese and more?
We invite you to join us in an exclusive cocktail reception celebrating the start of the fall harvest season in the hotel’s Eventi Suite and Veranda Terrace on Tuesday, October 1 from 5-7 p.m.
Dedicated to staying local, Eventi and Kimpton are proud partners with Taste NY, a recent initiative launched by the Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo to support New York’s agriculture by promoting the wide variety of products made and grown in the Empire State and making them readily accessible. While tasting some of the mouthwatering homegrown treats, meet some of the local vendors and learn more about what’s new for this fall harvest season.
I attended the event on Tuesday, and, what can I say? It was perfect! From the food and cocktails to the conversations to the beautiful balcony and fabulous weather…… All I can say is once again Kimpton team has outdone itself! As one friend said, the only thing missing was the Tupperware so we could bring everything home with us! Here are some photos – can you feel the love?
