[EXPIRED]
Last week, I wrote a blog post titled Changes Coming to the Chase Hyatt Visa Card (or is it Only a Rumor)?. The gist of that post was that Chase was changing the welcome bonus for the Chase Hyatt Visa Card from 2 free nights to 40,000 World of Hyatt points after spending $2,000.
Lo and behold, the next day Chase announced the very change I wrote about – effective June 29th.
Depending on your redemption goals, you might prefer the 2-free night option better or the 40,000 point option better.
The 2 free night option is preferable if you want to use the bonus to stay at a category six or seven Hyatt hotel, or at the Miraval Resort in Arizona (which would otherwise cost 65,000 World of Hyatt points per night for two persons)
If you have remorse that you didn’t sign up for the card when the bonus was 2 free nights, help is on the way. The Reward Boss posted a working application link for the “old” card on June 30th. I’m surprised that the link still works, but it does!
Here is the LINK.
Have a great 4th!

You’re right – it was working this morning, but it’s dead now. I guess when the Chase people got to work today they turned it off. I wonder if there are any working links left (Dr of Credit to the rescue?)
