There are always a lot of promos – many of which are of little value to me. You’ve got to pick and choose what’s good and what’s good for you.
If you fly US Airways and you have gathered some hotel points that just seem to “sit there” or even might be close to expiring, you can convert them to US Airways miles (at the formula they set forth) and earn a 50% bonus. For me, I think I’m going to move some of my Priority Points (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, etc) over. I seem to use other hotel chains more, and I think the point-mile conversion rate for Priority Points is pretty good.
