What is the cure for ugly construction throughout a city such as New York? How about turning construction sites into impromptu art exhibits?
I was walking down 57th Street in Manhattan yesterday. There was quite a bit of construction. It would have ordinarily been unsightly, but the Art Students League of New York had a better idea. They put canvas posters on the poles filled with art. They effectively transformed the construction site into an art project appropriately called #CreateArt.
I enjoyed this impromptu art show – it made me smile and it made my walk down 57th Street more interesting and memorable!

I am not surprised, Kathy, since you were right down the street from where I attended high school.

Thanks Brian! I was also just doors away from Park Hyatt – I walked in there to see if they had any special holiday decorations.
