I recently shared my love for London’s Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel (see, Hotel Review: Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street is a True Gem!). I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
For obvious reasons, hotel fitness centers inside populated cities are often smaller and more compact (or even crowded) than those outside of such city centers.
The fitness center at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel is not large, but it is very clean, well-maintained and equipped with all state-of-the-art machines by Techno Gym. It is was completely mirrored thus giving a more open and expansive feeling to the space.
Among other things, the fitness center contains 2 treadmills, 1 stationary bicycle, 2 different types of elliptical machines, core centric training, free weights and Techno Gym Kinesis. You might think that, with all this equipment, the space was crowded, but it isn’t. There are also all sorts of bright balls and foam rollers in the room as well as a water cooler, plenty of towels and apples.
Here are some photos:
I did not have a chance to work out in the hotel gym, as I was walking and running miles and miles outdoors. Luckily, the weather was great when I visited London. However, if I’d had more time or the weather was inclement, I would have enjoyed using the fitness center.
