In late September, I traveled to Tampa, Florida to attend a conference for travel and point and mile enthusiasts known as Frequent Traveler University. I wrote about it in a post here.
The conference took place at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, which was a fabulous choice. The property is beautiful, the staff was accommodating, and the price was reasonable. The only complaint I heard about the hotel was that it was too cold in the conference rooms. Brrr.
The fitness center was spacious and clean, with plenty of machines and lots of windows and mirrors! Here are some photos:
It didn’t dawn on me until I saw this sign, that part of the room was under construction!
The fitness center offered chilled towels, headphones and of course a water cooler with pointy cups!
The women’s locker room had showers and plenty of lockers, as well as a sauna. I assume the men’s locker room was similar, though I did not go in there.
From the fitness room, which was on the second floor, there were outdoor steps to go to the pool and pool area.
The pool was gorgeous.
There was a second pool with a sand “beach” on the part of the hotel grounds where the hotel villa casitas were located.
Whether a gym rat or a casual worker-outer, the fitness facilities at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay had something for everyone.
