Hyatt Issues Enormous List of New and Upcoming Hotels

Hyatt issued a press release entitled Hyatt Announces Record Signings and Pipeline of 127,000 Rooms at Year-End, Fueling Growth Strategy in 2024 and Beyond. In the press release, Hyatt lists an enormous number of new and upcoming hotels on the pipeline.

With respect to Park Hyatt hotels, Hyatt announced the following:

• 2024 –  Park Hyatt London River Thames (United Kingdom), Park Hyatt Johannesburg (South Africa), Park Hyatt Changsha (China) and Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
• 2025 –  Park Hyatt Cancun (Mexico) Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo Del Sol (Mexico).
• 2026 – Park Hyatt Mexico City (Mexico).

With respect to all-inclusive resorts, Hyatt announced the following:

• 2024 –  Zoetry Halkidiki Resort & Spa (Greece) and Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa & Marina (Portugal).

With respect to the Thompson Hotels brand, Hyatt announced the following:

• 2024 – USA locations  Thompson Houston, Thompson Palm Springs and Thompson South Beach
• no date mentioned (2024?) – Thompson Rome (Italy), Thompson Vienna (Austria) and Thompson Seville (Spain).
• 2025 –  Thompson Shanghai Expo (China)
• 2027 –  Thompson Puerto Vallarta (Mexico)

With respect to the new upper-midscale extended-stay brand in the Americas, Hyatt Studios, Hyatt announced upcoming plans for the following locations:

• Hyatt Studios Foley in Alabama
• Hyatt Studios Huntsville in Alabama
• Hyatt Studios Mobile / Tillman’s Corner in Alabama
• Hyatt Studios Marysville in California
• Hyatt Studios Murrieta in California
• Hyatt Studios Denver Airport 68th & Yampa in Colorado
• Hyatt Studios Bensenville in Illinois
• Hyatt Studios Greenwood in Indiana
• Hyatt Studios Kokomo in Indiana
• Hyatt Studios Louisville in Kentucky

• 2025 – The Keraton at the Plaza (Jakarta, Indonesia).

JdV Hotels (including collaboration with Lindner Hotels):

• 2023: (opened) me and all hotel berlin east side and Lindner Hotel Boltenhagen, w(Germany)
• 2024 – Bentley Hotel (Southampton, NY).

Destination brand:

• 2024  – A resort in Ramara, Ontario, Canada, and Cas En Bas Beach Resort (St. Lucia).

With respect to Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt hotels, Hyatt announced the following:

• 2023 – (opened)  Grand Hyatt Kuwait Residences 
• 2024 –  Hyatt Regency Panama City (Panama), Grand Hyatt Deer Valley (Park City, Utah)
• 2025 – Grand Hyatt Mexico Santa Fe (Mexico)

With Respect to Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels, Hyatt announced the following:

• 2024 – Hyatt Place Leeds and Hyatt House (United Kingdom),

With respect to the Hyatt Centric brand, Hyatt announced the following:

• 2024 – Hyatt Centric Toronto City Centre (Canada), Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai (China), Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Hyatt Centric Escazu San Jose (Costa Rica) and Hyatt Centric Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic).
• 2025 – Hyatt Centric Winnipeg Downtown (Canada) and Hyatt Centric Queretaro (Mexico).
• 2026 – Hyatt Centric Victoria – Old Town (Canada).

With respect to the Caption brand, Hyatt announced the following:

• 2024 –  Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park Shanghai (China) and Caption by Hyatt Namba Osaka (Japan)
• 2025 – Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo (Japan),  Caption by Hyatt Downtown Nashville/The Gulch, (Tennessee).
• 2026 – Caption by Hyatt Chattanooga Downtown, (Tennessee).

With respect to the Dream Hotel Group, Hyatt announced that the  Dream Valle de Guadalupe, (Mexico) will be brought into the Hyatt brand in 2024.

With respect to the Inclusive Collection, Hyatt announced the following expansion, all slated to open in 2024:

• Secrets Tides Punta Cana (Dominican Republic),  Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres, Dreams Grand Island (Cancun, Mexico), Hyatt Vivid Grand Island (Cancun, Mexico) and Dreams Estrella Del Mar Mazatlan (Mexico).

That is quite a list and it is quite exciting. Which ones are you most excited about? I’m most interested in the new Park Hyatt and Thompson hotels.

What’s missing? There is no mention of Alila Hotels. Nor is there any mention of the future of Hyatt’s collaboration with SLH hotels in light of Hyatt’s collaboration with Mr. and Mrs. hotels.
