Whenever I am making an online purchase, I check to see if there are any shopping portals which offer extra points or miles or cashback for the purchase. The first place I generally check is EVRewards. So, today, I looked there and saw that BigCrumbs offered 9% cashback on purchases at Gilt City and I clicked on the link that would bring me directly to Big Crumbs. This is what I found:

The latest is that they would pay all the “verified’ PayPal accounts for the January rebates on Monday, Feb 2nd as they were supposed to, but I haven’t been paid and have been a member for almost a year….I HAVE a verified PP account so they have no excuse and don’t answer their phone number….I’m hoping they didn’t just skip out on the money they owe members but I’m pretty much kissing my $50.54 goodbye….I should’ve used EBATES all last month as they have NEVER missed a payday in the 4 years I’ve been a member of their site…..
Just ONCE, I wish a site was honest and treated their loyal members honestly and with integrity when they are closing the site, instead of keeping everyone waiting with lies….I had problems with them posting the correct amount of rebates earlier last month too…I think they were trying to scam me & others unless we caught it, which I did..only THEN did they post the corrected rebates and even posted an extra $20 as an “apology”……it means nothing now. I’m very disappointed that it’s been over as week and I doubt anyone was paid on Feb 2nd as scheduled….with no new updated word from them in 2 days
Big Crumbs has come back, changed their payment time frames and when I receive the January money that was pending in my account, I will post a follow up….I am owed approx $41.48 which would normally have been paid on or about March 2nd in the former terms of service….my new ‘dashboard’ says it’s $30 , so I’m reserving my judgement until I actually get the entire balance…..
Account was at exactly $50.54 on January 25 or thereabouts ..I got a small payment of $9.06 on March 2nd and I’m hoping for another payment before April ends.
