Earn Up to 9,500 AirBerlin Award Miles for Referring Friends

AirBerlin is running a great promotion called Bring Your Friends On Board where you can earn up to 9,500 award miles for referring friends to sign up for the frequent flyer program Topbonus. Each person who is referred earns 1,000 miles if s/he signs up for Topbonus!

Simply refer friends to join AirBerlin’s frequent flyer program, Top Bonus, and you’ll earn 1,000 miles per friend who signs up. Actually, the promotion says you’ll earn 500 miles, but “until 31 July, we will double your award miles for every extra referral after the first one – that’s 1,000 award miles per referral,” which I take to mean that from the second referral forward, you’ll earn 1,000 award miles.

Each friend who is referred and successfully registers for Topbonus receives 1,000 award miles as a welcome gift.

The terms and conditions state that multiple Topbonus new customers can be referred, however at a maximum of 10 new customers per member per year. I take this to mean that the maximum miles one can earn from this promotion is 9,500 miles – which is pretty good.
