Perhaps there’s something in the water? Just two days after Club Carlson/Radisson Rewards announcement (see,Radisson Hotel Group Introduces a New Loyalty Program – Radisson Rewards), yet another hotel chain announces that it has revamped and renamed its reward program.
The program is Drury Hotels. The loyalty program, the Drury Gold Key Club® has been renamed Drury Rewards. Today’s email announced that redemption of Drury Rewards points is now easier than before, and that:
We recently implemented some changes, and we wanted you to be some of the first to know.
- Exclusive, members-only access to our Drury Rewards rate, available online.
- Updated point redemption for free nights at Drury Hotels – the lower the rate, the fewer points needed!
We recommend logging into your account at www.druryhotels.com, updating your profile and checking out our recent changes.
The email went on to state that the iPhone app has also been redesigned.
I am not familiar with Drury Hotel’s reward program, and nor can I say that I’ve ever stayed at a Drury Hotel. However, there are plenty of Drury Hotels in the middle of the country. Here’s a map of their locations. (Though the states that have Drury Hotels are highlighted in red, don’t confuse this with a map of the red states! Then again . . .)
Have you stayed at a Drury hotel? What are your thoughts?
