When it rains it pours with discussions of iTunes’ Apps.
Now, in celebration of the Apple store’s 5th year anniversary, many top-selling apps are temporarily reduced to FREE. As reported on BGR.com, some of these apps are normally as much as $20.

I’m not really interested in the games, but I think the Barefoot World Atlas would be a great travel/geography app for children – it is described as “a magical interactive 3D globe that invites children to explore the regions and countries of the world, discovering hundreds of fascinating features and immersing themselves in the rich wonders of our planet. This is a multi-language, universal app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. ”
I also think that Over is an interesting photography app that I might “purchase”.
There is no indication how long this promotion will last, so if you are interested in any of these apps, grab them now.
(update: the 5th Anniversary Sale can now be accessed directly on Apple’s website. There may be even more free apps than those listed here).
Which are you interested in?

We think alike! I “purchased” Barefoot World Atlas for when my nieces and nephew “borrow” my iPhone and Over :). I’ve already wasted ten minutes of my life sending photos with silly captions ;).
