Rio 2016: T-Mobile Gives Customers Free High-Speed Data and Talk in Brazil and Gives Families of US Athletes Free Phones, Cameras and Service!

Listen up if you are going to Brazil in August (even if your travel is NOT to attend the Olympics)!

If you are a T-Mobile customer going to Brazil this August, you will receive unlimited high-speed data, talk and text, as if you were sitting in your own living room at home in Wisconsin or wherever you live! This includes free calling within Brazil and back home to the US as well as free texting to more than 140 countries worldwide.

Not only that, even if you are NOT a T-Mobile customer, T-Mobile will give  family members of US athletes traveling to Brazil FREE T-Mobile service AND a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and a Samsung Gear 360 camera through October. This offer is only available for the first 100 to qualify. To register, send an email to RoamFreeInRio@t-mobile.com and include your name, the name of the athlete you are related to and the dates you will be in Rio.

This is a pretty amazing offer. In fact, T-Mobile has been super awesome recently especially with respect to customers who travel internationally. If they continue with this behavior, I may need to reconsider my service provider.
