Brooklyn Gets $5 Lyft Line Rides

Brooklyn joins the rank of $5 Lyft Lines (i.e. shared rides), provided the ride begins and ends within the specified zone.

This is great – Brooklyn is a big borough with lots of cool places to go.  Lyft Lines will make it easier to get from one place to another.

Unfortunately, the $5 special does not apply to cross-borough rides. Thus, what Lyft[lines] in Brooklyn, must stay in Brooklyn, and what Lyft[lines] in Manhattan, must stay in Manhattan.  Never the twain shall meet, lest the $5 price goes away.

Further terms:

Valid for Lyft Line rides only. $5 price for one rider and $1 for an additional rider. Brooklyn rides must originate and end within qualifying Brooklyn $5 zone. See the app for qualifying Brooklyn rides. Manhattan rides must originate and end south of 97th Street. Limited time only. Does not apply to cross-borough rides.
