The beautiful dancers of Le Moulin Rouge of Paris, France will be doing their infamous Cancan dance on the streets of NYC for the first time next month! Ooh la la!
The troupe will make it’s first voyage from Paris to New York in order to join the BEST OF FRANCE celebration in Times Square on September 26th and 27th.
The BEST OF FRANCE event is organized by the New York French Community in partnership with many prominent organizations. The celebration will include many events, including abridged Moulin Rouge performances of the Cancan and Féerie dances as well as fashion shows showcasing the iconic costumes, including Swarovski crystal encrusted garments, that have played key roles in the Moulin Rouge’s rich history.
There will be two live shows daily at BEST OF FRANCE as well as the performances in conjunction with the daily Costume Fashion Show. Scheduled times as follows:
