This is all over the blog world today, but I wanted to write this up especially for my followers who may not typically follow all of the point and mile blogs.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is arguably the best credit card out there. Usually, the sign on bonus is 40,000 Ultimate Reward Points, but today it is 50,000 points plus an additional 5,000 points for adding an authorized user. (I read that this offer is good only today, but I do not know this for certain).
If you don’t have the card, and you have the credit to apply for this card, I highly recommend doing so.
here is the LINK (ht to Fat Wallet)
See the website for further terms and conditions, but generally: You must spend $3,000 in the first 3 months, and the annual fee is waived for the first year (thereafter it is $125).
I would apply, but I already have the card.
(I have a link for a referral for which I would receive 5,000 points. However, at least at this moment, that link takes you to a 40,000 Ultimate Reward offer, which I would not recommend. So, just ignore my referral link unless I hear word that Chase will honor the referral with the higher offer).

Why is the annual fee $125? Does this mean the they will eventually be increasing everyone’s fee to $125? I hope not.

I don’t know. Some are speculating that this one change in terms makes the CSP a new product so that they can churn the card. Let me know what you hear! thanks.
