I was surfing the web and came across some unbelievable rates as low as $58 per night at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick in New Brunswick, New Jersey for various dates in December 2018 and January 2019 – including Christmas and New Years!!
Rates at this hotel are generally in the range from $175 to $275. On Tripadvisor, it is rated #1 of the New Brunswick, NJ hotels.
New Brunswick is home to Rutgers University and accessible from New York City, Princeton and Philadelphia by train. You can easily make day trips to not only NYC, Princeton and Philadelphia, but also to the Jersey Shore and to Atlantic City. I’m pretty sure that I was at this hotel years ago for family weddings and/or Bar Mitzvahs.

Excellent deal, but I wouldn’t recommend vacationing in New Brunswick… It’s a pretty unpleasant town, in my humble opinion.
It’s great if you have business at Rutgers ,but there is nothing else there, and it’s not really connivent for NY (about an hour by train).
Is there any way to confirm with Hyatt that they will be honoring this rate around now instead of waiting till December? I need to hit my 60 nights with Hyatt!
