Here is the jogging map for the Hyatt Union Square in New York City. (A review of the hotel’s fitness center was posted here). The jogging map, which looks like an oversized playing card, was furnished to me by the front desk. It is not yet posted on the hotel’s website – hopefully Hyatt will make it available online so hotel guests can review the suggested courses even before their travels.
Since the hotel is not located uptown, the suggested course routes are not in Central Park, but rather around Washington Square Park and along the Hudson River Greenway, both great and scenic downtown New York City running venues. The Hudson River Greenway is part of New York City’s Waterfront Greenway – a project to create a paved bicycle and pedestrian course around the entire island of Manhattan.
The jogging map is also a good walking map as it identifies the nearby areas of Manhattan by name if a guest wants to explore these areas independently.
the back of the card contains directions –
This jogging map, like most of Hyatt’s jogging maps are designed by the Athletic Minded Traveler.
