My Run in Ballsbridge, Dublin and the Dublin InterContinental Hotel Jogging Map

The Intercontinental Hotel in the Ballsbridge section of Dublin, Ireland is beautiful. As always, when I checked in, I asked if the hotel had a running map. I was jubilant when I was told that the hotel does indeed have one!

YES!! I had been traveling and at conferences for over a week so I hadn’t had much time to run or work out. I was excited to run on this perfect fall day.

I decided I would run the suggested 4-mile course (actually, I added another mile on). It was fabulous! My favorite part was running on Ailesbury Road. This street is tree-lined and filled with beautiful mansions, many of which are embassies.

I’m not sure what I was expecting Beach Road to be, but it certainly wasn’t a pretty beach at all. Still there was a paved path along much of it, and even some fitness machines.

I kind of liked this guy.

I then headed back to this pretty hotel ready for another fun day in Dublin!
