Fellow runner and blogger, Simon, who writes Running For Status, has shared jogging maps from two hotels in his home town, Boston.
The first jogging map is from the Fairmont Copley Plaza:
The second jogging map is from the Sheraton Hotel:
The 2 hotels are located close to one another, so it’s interesting to compare the maps. On review, while the Fairmont map is somewhat clearer and easier to read, the Sheraton map has better instructions on the route.
Simon says (“Simon Says” ha!) not to run over Longfellow because it is narrow and crowded, and there is a construction detour making navigation even more difficult.
Thank you again, Simon!

All these years later, I still remember that it’s 17.1 mi from Watertown to the Science Museum.
And in years of living in Cambridge, I never once crossed the Longfellow on foot. It was always the Harvard Bridge (near MIT) or Science Museum.
