Barclaycard is running a new promotion on the AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard.
Earn 25% more miles on purchases made with your AAdvantage® Aviator™ Red MasterCard® between January 1st and March 31st, 2017. with a limit of 5,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles.
Register for the promotion by logging in to your account and clicking the banner on the right side of your account summary page.
You must register by March 15, 2017. Bonus miles will be posted to your AAdvantage® account 6-8 weeks after the promotion ends.
Eligible purchases on American Airlines which normally earn 2 miles per dollar, would now earn 2.5 miles per dollar. All other purchases, which normally earn 1 mile per dollar, would now earn 1.25 miles per dollar.
This is possibly targeted, because the first line of the terms and offers states Offer is valid for select cardmembers and is not transferable.
In my opinion, this is not a huge promotion.
In my case, I recently received a retention offer on this card whereby through February 1, 2017, I earn double miles on purchases – so I think I’d be able to stack the two offers.
