Earn 3,000 Miles for Joining Air France KLM’s Flying Blue Program?

I just received an email from Air France KLM inviting me to join their loyalty program, Flying Blue.   (I am already a member but that’s besides the point).  The subject line of the email says this:

Enroll into Flying Blue and receive 3,000 bonus miles now!

However, once you read the email itself, the terms of the offer become murky.  The email says:

It goes on to say:

Based on the language of the email, it is unclear whether the 3,000 bonus miles is awarded at the time of signing up, or only after one travels on an Air France KLM flight by April 1, 2016.  Or perhaps, it then becomes a 6,000 mile bonus?
