I received an email from El Al, for it’s frequent flyer program, Matmid, stating that “EL AL is renewing the Matmid Frequent Flyer Club program and invites you to check out the many benefits and changes in the new plan for members living outside of Israel, which shall come into effect as of February 10, 2015. ” Honestly, I’m not 100% sure what El Al means by renewing, but I’m guessing that El Al is announcing new changes to the Matmid program, effective this February. You can bet there are more devaluations than benefits in store for El Al’s frequent flyers.
