Earlier this month, I visited Toronto for a conference of Travel Bloggers called TBEX. I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. It’s a very nice, large city hotel – and well, sometimes it’s easy to feel a little lost in large city hotels. But the hotel was still nice, and the room was fine. I woke up in the morning to a view of the CN Tower (the feature photo of this blog post).
I was disappointed that the hotel did not have a Regency Club, but it did have a nice fitness center that was clean and not cramped and contained modern working exercise equipment. I only wish I hadn’t been so busy with lectures and events – I would have liked another day to spend more time wandering (or running) around the city, and exploring the fitness center.
The fitness center did have an outdoor pool, but it was raining most of my visit, so it was closed. And, for those who know my sauna history (!) – there was no sauna at the hotel, or at least I never found it.
Here are some photos, including of course the obligatory water dispenser with pointy paper cups (I’ll never understand those!).
This weekend, I’m off to San Francisco, to see family and friends and run the San Francisco Marathon.
Stay tuned, stay healthy and be happy.

Darn, and I was hoping for Naked Man Part 4. I guess there’s always the Charleston Sessions or the Chicago Seminars….
The sauna was in the women’s bathroom right before the pool.
