Get More Than 50% off at Banana Republic, GAP, Old Navy, etc.

I have been traveling and working a lot, but thought I’d throw in a quick BlackFriday-esque post.

This weekend, Banana Republic ran a 40% off sale on everything in store and online.  The sale runs through tomorrow, December 1, but don’t worry, they’ll repeat it.  The partner stores, GAP, Old Navy, Athleta, etc. run similar sales.

One thing these stores are famous for is stacking coupons or promos on-line.  So, for example, if you have a promo of 25% off, you can add that code together with the weekend sale code and receive at least 50% and more likely 55% or 60% off (I’ll leave the exact calculation to the mathematicians).

A very easy way to get a 25% off promo code is to go to Banana Republic.com and sign up for emails.  At the end of the sign-up, you’ll be asked if you’d like to receive mailings from GAP, Old Navy, etc.  Within moments, you’ll receive a “welcome” email from Banana Republic with a one-time code of 25% off (you will receive similar emails from GAP, Old Navy, etc. if you asked to receive mailings from them).

The rest is simple.  Shop, and then before payment, add the two codes. (ht DansDeals).
