Hotel Review: Anara Airport Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia

Anara Airport Hotel is conveniently located in Terminal 3 at Jakarta Airport in Indonesia

In late January, we flew from New York JFK Airport to Jakarta Soekarno Hatta Airport on Japan Airlines with a stop at Tokyo Narita Airport.  The flight was scheduled to arrive at Jakarta at almost midnight, and we had a separately booked flight to Bali on Garuda Indonesia Airline at 9 am the next morning. Knowing that we’d be exhausted from flying overnight, it was imperative to find the best airport hotel with the minimum stress involved. Since we were both arriving and leaving from Terminal 3 at Jakarta Airport, a hotel at that terminal was ideal.

I did some research, and decided on Anara Airport hotel, which is located right in Terminal 3 of the Airport. After some price-checking I decided to book the hotel through Agoda, a travel-booking platform based in Singapore, which often has equal or better prices than the competitors. Seventy Dollars for a King Deluxe Room was a bargain.

Finding the hotel was easy and the check-in process was smooth.

The room was very nice and clean and fine for what we needed it for – sleep.

When we checked in to the hotel, I was surprised to learn that the stay included breakfast. We expected something simple and tolerable, but we were totally surprised that the breakfast was a full buffet of a wide assortment of hot and cold foods. It was actually quite good!

To summarize, the Anara Airport Hotel was perfect for our needs since it was well-located, the room was nice and clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was helpful, and the price was reasonable.

    Thanks for the nice review. I will be staying there in July to catch an early morning flight at 5AM from terminal 3.
