The Plaza Grande Hotel is located in the principal public square of Quito, Ecuador called Plaza de la Independencia. This elegant boutique hotel was once a mansion. It is filled with history, and it is incredibly beautiful, both inside and outside.
My stay here was complimentary as part of a press tour of Quito, Ecuador sponsored by Quito Tourism, and I am thankful for this experience.
Each suite at the hotel is unique, but all of the suites are spectacular. Mine was regal. The details and ambiance were so incredible – it took my breath away (which explains why I took so many photos). And in the bathroom, there were rose petals everywhere!

We ate breakfast daily at the hotel restaurant, and were treated to a delicious array of Ecuadorian food and fruits.
Staying at the Plaza Grande Hotel was a pleasure that I will always remember. If you travel to Quito, I highly recommend this hotel.
