Today, Hyatt has announced multiple promotions that are simply wonderful. I sure hope to travel soon to take advantage of these great opportunities!

World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can receive an additional 10% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points, for a total of 25% of redeemed points back when used during the promotion period. Additionally, World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can earn Quadruple Points (instead of triple points) on eligible spend for stays at 350+ participating resort locations – that can be more than 20 points per dollar spent on their World of Hyatt or Hyatt credit card at Hyatt resort properties. A list of 160 participating Hyatt resort properties, 200 SLH properties, and a handful of MGM Resort Destinations will be available once registration is live.
The Bonus Journeys promotion will run from October 1, 2020 through January 4, 2021, with registration required by November 30, 2020.
REALLY EXCITING NEWS FOR THOSE CHASING OR KEEPING WOH STATUS!!!!
It’s no secret that I love being a World of Hyatt Globalist. So, I’m thrilled that for every Tier-Qualifying Night on stays completed during the Bonus Journeys promotion period (October 1, 2020 through January 4, 2021), members will earn one Tier-Qualifying Night credit toward elite status the year in which they earn it, and one bonus Tier-Qualifying Night credit toward elite status in 2021.
This means members get a 3 month head start to earn status for not only 2021, but also for 2022! Thus, Globalists will have 15 months to secure their continued status and Milestone Rewards for 2022!
I’ve always loved how Hyatt always goes the extra distance to make their members happy and coming back for more. This is a great set of incentives, and why I favor Hyatt over the other brands.
With all of these bonuses, this is also a perfect time to consider whether the Chase Visa World of Hyatt card is right for you. You can compare some of the travel cards here:

Do you happen to know how the free parking is supposed to work? I recently got charged by a Regency and didn’t notice until I’d left. Should the hotel know enough about me, my status, and my credit card to not charge? Or is this something that will eventually come back thru Chase? Thanks!

You definitely need to follow up with the hotel, but it should be a simple process. Chase won’t do / know anything about it.

Thanks. From what I hear, Hotel is the correct answer. I asked Hyatt twitter. They started the process. “Jessica at the front desk [said] she will inform their General Manager of the charges. She says she will contact you via e-mail .” That was Wednesday. Today is Sunday. Nothing yet. I just tickled the Twitter folks. Expecting to have to escalate to my Chase Hyatt CC.
