[Update: this has now been fixed]
Today, I tried to check rates on Hyatt.com for an upcoming marathon weekend. I am eligible to use a few different rates, so I generally check the basic rate first, then the government rate, then the AARP rate, and I then compare and choose the most advantageous rate.
Today, however, I found that the Hyatt booking engine seemed to allow me to check one rate only, and then did not permit me to go back and check any other rates. The only way I could do this was by logging out and logging back in again.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is this a new format or is the Hyatt booking engine broken?
I’m not having any problem. If you are, just don’t sign in and check the rates.
It’s been that way since at least last week.
Pat, Matthew: I’m happy to see that this has been fixed. Honestly, I hadn’t seen this problem before and i was just a little concerned that this was an intentional change. Phew!
