A few weeks ago, I noticed a post by SanDiego1K on Flyertalk about a contest to win an invitation to the annual GlobeRunner Awards Ceremony, sponsored by the Frequent Business Traveler – the leading business and travel publication designed to cater to the travel and technology needs of the business traveler. The competition was also written up on Flyertalk’s The Gate and on What’s Your Point? The Contest Instructions required a short essay:
Tell us why you are a Master Frequent Business Traveler.
I Won!!
I decided to give it a shot, and I wrote an essay.
I was most pleased, surprised and honored when I received an email on Saturday informing me that I had won! According to this announcement, I was one of fifteen FBT readers selected to attend.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the award ceremony, this Wednesday in New York City at 3 o’clock p.m (“Tea at 3”), and to meeting industry leaders from airlines, hotels, frequent travel loyalty programs and travel media.
Would You Like to be my Guest?
I am invited with a guest. If you will be in New York City on Wednesday, at 3 p.m. and would like to attend, please comment below. Specifically, please give a brief statement why you’d like to attend the GlobeRunner Awards Ceremony. Please submit all entries by noon tomorrow, as I must inform the FBT of my guest’s name by tomorrow.
Did I mention that I’m PSYCHED!
Congrats Kat!! Yay
