The Hyatt website is notoriously glitchy, so I shouldn’t be concerned right?. . .
Today, I was looking into making reservations for an upcoming trip to Australia, and there was no point availability or points and cash availability. Instead, this is what I saw on my computer screen:
I thought it was odd, so I started doing other searches. What I discovered was that, throughout the Hyatt website, approximately 50% of the hotels are showing this. Here’s a random search for New York City:
Results were similar on my iPhone app. I phoned the Customer Service line and the agent knew nothing of this odd phenomenon. His computer did show points availability for hotels that showed “0”on my end. He tried logging in as a non-employee, and saw the same “0” phenomenon that I observed.
I’m hoping that there is no devaluation or similar process in the works. What bothers me is that this oddity is only for certain hotels and not for others. Has this happened before? I’m hoping that by the time I hit PUBLISH everything will be back to normal.

I noticed this with many properties after the P+C change in November so hopefully it is just their IT not really catching up with things yet!

I hope so!!

I booked 1 night Hyatt Vancouver a couple of days ago on points but today no option for the same night is available on points or points and cash, it’s just a blank screen. Hopefully Hyatt will get it sorted soon.

I noticed the same thing. The app even displays an “average per night” amount, which looks like a c+p rate, that is nowhere to be found once you select the hotel.

This is a common issue.

I’ve experienced this before in the past.

What I found different here is that the point bookings are only removed from some properties, but not all.
