This is the latest installment of Cuckoo for Jogging Maps, a regular feature of Will Run For Miles.
On Saturday, I visited the Eventi Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel. I stopped in for a Jogging Map, and was treated to the infamous Kimpton wine hour, and was so lucky to have the opportunity to view the Olympics on a Jumbotron from the comfort of my wine glass. I discussed this in a prior post entitled Eventi Hotel Jumbotron – Coolest Place to See Olympics in NYC.
The hotel gave me a very cool Jogging Map. It is intended to cover all four Kimpton Hotels in New York City – the Eventi, Ink48, the Muse and 70Park. The Jogging Map lays out runs of varying distances, run primarily in Central Park or along the Hudson River. The Jogging Map is fairly long long, so I had to split the photo into three pictures:
The back of the Jogging Map contains instructions. Its nice that the map gives the runner choices of distances. I should note that, as a New Yorker, any of these courses are beautiful, and a pleasure to run, skip or stroll.
I’m sure that, if you stopped in at one of the four NYC Kimpton Hotels, they’d give you one of their Jogging Maps, even if you weren’t staying there. I should note that most Kimpton Hotels usually have water with lemon or lemonade in their lobbies – I’d bet that if you were thirsty, you could stop in and they’d happily let you take a glass. That’s just how they roll.

You could probably also stop in between 5-6pm for a free glass of wine!
