When I visited Israel, I fell in love with the beautiful white sand beaches of Tel Aviv, the spectacular sunsets, and the overall energy of the entire city. One night, Won’t Run and I had drinks at a beach cafe and watched the sunset. It was simply astonishing!

I really enjoyed my runs each morning along the beach – it is simply an amazing place to run. Or walk. Or Cycle. (see, RUNNING IN TEL AVIV!). Although I knew that Tel Aviv is right on the Mediterranean Sea, I had not realized that Tel Aviv is a fabulous beach city, and was in fact named one of the top ten beach cities by National Geographic, along with cities such as Barcelona, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Capetown, Honolulu and Nice!
Now Tel Aviv-Yafo has launched a new website featuring nonstop live-streaming of Tel Aviv beach!
How cool is this? I can sit in my New York office on a dreary winter day, and practically feel the sand in my toes! (Actually I can’t because streaming is blocked on my work computers, but I can see this from my home computer!). In addition to the live view of the beach, the website shows live details such as the sea condition, waves, winds and water temperature!
Oh, I can’t wait to visit Israel again!
