Lounge Hopping at GIG Rio de Janeiro Airport – 2nd Stop – GOL Premium Lounge

The Brazilian Airline, GOL has both a domestic and an international Premium Lounge at the Rio de Janeiro Airport. I visited the International lounge. This was lounge hopping stop 2 – after the AA Admirals Club and before the Plaza Premium Lounge.

Basics:

Galeão (RJ): Terminal 2, 3rd level, South Pier.
Service hours: 6 AM to 2 AM.
Available only for passengers traveling on international flights.

As you can see from the sign, the GOL Lounge also serves Delta, KLM and AirFrance. GOL has a partner arrangement with Delta. It is also a Priority Pass Lounge.

The lounge design is very modern and attractive. It was a quiet night, so there was plenty of room.

The food was set out buffet style accessible from two sides. There was an assortment of sandwiches, salads and hot items.

There was a bar, with bartender service. Alcoholic beverages were complimentary.

I didn’t linger at the lounge, but overall, it was very nice. I wasn’t hungry, so it was time to check out another lounge.
