Mexico – One Drink at a Time

Arrival at Cancun Airport:

Hello Riviera Maya.  Right to the pool:

Ding, ding, ding, its happy hour at the pool bar:

So, a Margarita walks up to a Beer and says…..

I’ll have another beer:

Pondering the good life:

Do Iguanas drink?

                                     At a grocery store, Boone’s Farm. (NO, we didn’t buy any)

Restaurant in Playa where all the “locals” go has wonderful tacos, margaritas and ….. Corona chairs!

Back at resort restaurant….. waiter, please bring us more guacamole:

How about dinner at Playa del Carmen for July 4th? Yum, Independence Day Margaritas.

The trip is nearing its end.  We are back at the Cancun airport.  Tequila tastings at 9am?  YES!

The stuff in the white ceramic bottle is $75.  And delicious.

And then, the Duty Free store has walls and walls of Tequila:

Perhaps you prefer Mezcal (where’s the worm?):

Kahlua anyone?

Perhaps you’d prefer some meds…….no prescription necessary!

Back in Miami – a perfect end to a vacation – good food, good friends, good wine – YAY!

And now back home in New York, but we have a little souvenier…. El Jimador, but we are waiting a while to start drinking it!
