The Hyatt love affair continues. People have been wondering what Hyatt’s next promotion after the end of the Bonus Journeys promotion on February 28th will be. And now we have the answer!
Stay 2 nights, earn 2,000 (or 2,500) Bonus Points! Repeat, Earn, Repeat, Earn.
The newest promotion runs from March 1, 2021 through June 15, 2021 (with registration February 23 – May 15).
REGISTER HERE
All members who register for the promotion, can earn 2,000 Bonus Points every two qualifying nights from March 1 through June 15, 2021. World of Hyatt credit cardholders will earn 2,500 Bonus Points for very two qualifying nights.
Nights do not have to be consecutive and there is no maximum number of points a member can earn. The promotion includes stays across 1,000+ locations worldwide, including:
- Participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide across 19 brands
- Participating MGM Resorts destinations, Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) hotels and Lindblad Expedition experiences.
Since nights do not have to be consecutive, this promo works well for people who like to do a lot of one night staycations!
Stay 10 Nights – Get a Category 1-4 Free Night!
Plus, if a member registers and completes ten qualifying nights during the Promotion Period, the member will also receive one Free Night award at a Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel (valid up to 180 days after issuance). Maximum one Free Night Award may be earned under this promotion.
DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS
Members must register before their stay to qualify toward earning points and a free night. This promotion can also be “stacked” with additional exclusive offers and experiences such as Hyatt Night In and Work From Hyatt.
An “Eligible Night” is any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
Only the room occupied by the Member will count toward this promotion.
Bonus points will be posted two to three weeks after check out.
QUESTIONS and ANSWERS
This promotion is pretty straightforward, but I still had a few questions, so I went to my source at Hyatt.
Question: A stay begins on February 27 and checkout is on March 1. Does that count as one night under the promotion?
Answer: No, only Eligible Nights completed during the Promotion Period will count toward the promotion.
Question: same scenario, but checkout is March 2. Does that count as zero, one or two nights?
Answer: this would only count as one qualifying night – March 1 with a checkout of March 2, 2021.
Question: Similarly, A stay at the end of the promotion period, with a checkout after June 15. Will the nights before June 15 count under this promotion?
Answer: Yes, Eligible Nights during the Promotion Period will count toward the promotion.
Question: Do award nights count for this 2K/2.5K promotion? What about free annual nights either from Chase or from WOH?
Answer: Yes, for the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay.
Question: The free 1-4 cert for 10 nights. Is this in addition to the 2K/2.5K points earned for each two nights?
Answer: Yes.
MY THOUGHTS
The world is slowly starting to open up to travel again. This is a good incentive for members to plan a few or many nights of hotel stays, near or far, and still earn a bonus.

Any idea why the Hyatt link (from your post) would tell me and my SO that we already registered, when we hadn’t? That’s what happened just now, with both accounts. Thanks!
