There is a new promotion for Chase Hyatt Credit Card holders – where you can earn 10% back for redeemed points. You must register – Here is the LINK.
These are the basic details – for all point redemptions between June 1st and September 5th, you will get 10% of your redeemed points back. Thus, the promotion excludes Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend stays, but includes July 4th stays.
Provided you register, if you redeem 60,000 points for three nights at a hotel that is 20,000 points per night, you will receive 6,000 points back in 6- 8 weeks. Viewed otherwise, you could say that award stays at this hotel are essentially on sale for 18,000 points per night for registered cardmembers.
To summarize:
1. Register for this cardmember-only promotion by June 30, 2017.
2. Redeem your points for free nights, Points + Cash stays or toward room upgrades, dining and spa services completed between June 1 and September 5, 2017.
3. You’ll get 10% of your redeemed points back as Bonus Points. They’ll automatically be deposited into your World of Hyatt account after your points have been used.

That is true Harry, and I wish Hyatt had this same promo on a full time basis like IHG, but they don’t. It’s not an AMAZING deal, but if I’m staying at a Hyatt anyway, I might as well sign up and get the rebate.
