United Airlines offers special Get in Gear Menu at OTG Honoring Marathon Runners
When you are traveling to another city to run a race, you are not always able to get your proper nutrients.
United Airlines, a leading sponsor of the TCS New York City Marathon – in honor of the marathon runners – is offering special meals geared to runners’ at United Airline’s food and beverage partner, OTG, at Terminal C of Newark Liberty International Airport.
The Get in Gear program offers runner-friendly meals and snacks throughout Newark Terminal C to coincide with the arrival and departure of New York City Marathon participants.
Here’s the Menu:
The concept? Some items are specifically tailored to provide the necessary carb and protein intake to meet high physical demands of the training process. Other items are lighter fare to fuel up for the big day (such as a selection of grab-and-go meals, fresh juices and homemade smoothies). Finally, other items are for the runner looking to reward themselves to something special after weeks of training.

Free Medal Engraving
After the New York City Marathon, United Airlines is offering Free Medal Engraving for all runners who pass through Newark Airport at Terminal C across from the Polaris Lounge!
- November 4: 4:00pm – 10:00pm
- November 5: 7:00am – 5:00pm
