Saturday Night Live Lottery Tickets

It’s August, so it’s that time again. What time? Time to enter the lottery to receive tickets for Saturday Night Live. Truth be told, I’ve entered this every year and have never gotten tickets, but that doesn’t stop me from continuing to try. So here’s the scoop.

To enter the Saturday Night Live ticket lottery for the upcoming 2016-2017 season send an email in the month of August only to snltickets@nbcuni.com.

In the email, include all contact information. You may not request a specific date. If you win the lottery, you will receive 2 tickets. The date and time of the show will be random.

You may only send one email per household. All audience members must be at least 16 years of age.

Saturday Night Live Stand-by Tickets

If instead (or in addition) you wish to try for stand-by tickets, they are distributed at 7am on the 48th st. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the show. Stand-by tickets are limited to one per person and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. You can choose either a ticket for the dress rehearsal at 8pm or the live broadcast at 11:30pm.

Tickets may not be transferred or exchanged, and photo ID is required both when tickets are issued, and at the return time. You must arrive no later than 7:15pm for the dress rehearsal or 10:45pm for the live show.
