And here’s the kind of surprise no traveler enjoys! Without prior warning, the Hyatt Place St. Petersburg, Florida has jumped from a Category 1 to a Category 3. That’s a jump from 5,000 points to 12,000 points for a one night award redemption.
Effective immediately (or technically, on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 8:00 am CT), all free night award redemptions (or changes to previously booked award redemptions) will be at the new, higher rate. All free night award redemptions booked before the change will be at the prior rate.
