Early this morning, our prolific pal Vince sent out what he promised would be his last email on behalf of Big Crumbs.  From now on, it will be MainStreetShares or bust!  I thought I’d share his final crumb with you!

MainStreetSHARES is fully underway. We’ve begun processing purchases for the first few days under the new model. Total shopping is currently a fraction of where we were for BigCrumbs, however, the pace is accelerating and we’re exactly where we expected to be as members make the transition from BigCrumbs and new members join.Today We Made History

As a quick reminder: when we earn other revenue, such as from advertising, you’ll now share in all of it based on how much you spend.

And, today, we’ve added the first additional such “beyond cash back” company revenue to the total that shoppers will share. With that, the economic shift has begun.

How much? Well, if you’re still thinking in old cash back terms, here’s what it means: you went to bed with $50 cash back in your account and woke up with $60.25. That’s a 20.5% increase overnight.

This is not magical “free” money. This revenue is the result of the total value that members bring. Your presence and your shopping allow us to sell advertising and generate shareable revenue beyond the old cash back. As we bring in more revenue, we’ll continue to share. It’s exactly what I’ve been talking about and it’s exactly why we moved to MainStreetSHARES.

Short version: It’s working, exactly as we’ve designed it, and members are already receiving the benefits.

So, if you’ve been shopping via MainStreetSHARES, then congratulations! You’ve made history with us.
