Amazon Prime, usually $99 per year, is being offered today only for $72 for one year (new members only)
The email I received from Amazon states that, even if you don’t want Amazon Prime, you could stream Transparent episodes today for free. Here’s the text of the email:
In honor of Transparent’s wins at the 72nd Golden Globe awards, we are offering new customers a year of Prime for $72* — today only, January 24th. This special Prime offer includes thousands of streaming movies and TV shows, plus benefits of a Prime membership, like FREE Two-Day Shipping, Prime Music, Prime Photos and more.
If you’re not ready to join Prime but would like to watch this award-winning show, you can stream the entire first season of Transparent free — today only, January 24th. The show depicts an LA family with serious boundary issues and was this year’s winner for “Best TV Series, Comedy or Musical” and “Best Performance by an Actor in a Comedy or Musical TV Series”.
Amazon Prime is a lot more than just free shipping:
- FREE Two-Day Shipping on millions of items
- Unlimited, ad-free access to over a million songs
- Instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows with Prime Instant Video
- Free unlimited photo storage in Amazon Cloud Drive
- Read free books each month through Kindle First and the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library
I’m tempted to sign up for Amazon Prime today. If you are a subscriber of Amazon Prime, do you like it and recommend it?
