I received this email from United Airlines MileagePlus Fitness:

The e-mail reads:

A wide variety of health clubs are listed on the email and on the linked page, including my own gym New York Sports Club.

It appears that this bonus is only for joining one of the health clubs, rather than renewing or continuing a membership, but perhaps there is a workaround for this.

While one can say that United is jumping on the New Year “resolution craze,” I still see a campaign such as this as a positive step in the direction of promoting and awarding fitness-related expenditures. What do you think?
