Wandering the Magical Grounds of Holistika, Tulum

Holistika Tulum is a wellness spa, retreat and boutique hotel in the La Veleta area of Tulum, Mexico. It is a tranquil jungle oasis! It is also next door to it’s sister hotel, Hotel Tiki Tiki Tulum, where I recently stayed (see Hotel Tiki Tiki Tulum Review).

The public is permitted to enter Holistika’s grounds to meditate or roam around or to visit the restaurant or even to take a yoga class. There is no charge.

A stroll around Holistika grounds and a visit to the Art Walk (see photos below) made my day special. I found the Art Walk to be transformative and almost magical, though I can’t exactly explain why.

The Art Walk is on the same grounds, but it has an arch entrance and winding paths, for guests to view, experience and ponder each item of artwork one at a time. We spent an hour or two here. It was not crowded, in fact we only saw a few people the whole time we were there. We moved at our own pace.

I loved this so much. I recommend a visit if you are in the Tulum vicinity! (Nothing is really that far away in Tulum . . . ).
