Airport Lounge Review: Passport Club at Savannah Hilton Head Airport
As I wrote about, I was really impressed with the Hyatt House Charlotte Airport. It was crisp, and fresh and modern. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a fitness center.
The pool was lovely – I wish I had time to swim during my stay. There was also outdoor lounge nearing completion.
I was disappointed by the fitness center. It seemed to me that the Hyatt House was trying to make the most of the space which housed the fitness center under previous ownership, even though the space was quite awkward. There were walls and shadows throughout, there was a foul odor (presumably from new flooring, but bad odor nevertheless) and lack of adequate light or air. The equipment was new and in good condition, but I’m sorry to say that I truly couldn’t breathe in that room.
I hope the hotel chooses to redesign the space – they could begin by taking down some of the walls and improving the vent system. it has so much potential.
