I’m totally elated right now – I have to share this with you!
A few months ago, I was named a 2017 Action Hero by Women’s Health Magazine (see, I’m a Women’s Health Magazine Action Hero!!!).
It has been truly inspiring to interact with and get to know many of these 100 awesome, powerful, beautiful, accomplished women. Through this process, I’ve continued to evolve on so many levels beyond just fitness and nutrition (which of course are immensely important) but also a quest for healthy and mindful and purposeful living as well as the desire to step outside the comfort zone and to embrace each experience I face (whether that experience is new or familiar). By sharing my excitement and experience, I hope that I can be a positive and meaningful influence for others.

Don’t let anything hold you back. Embrace life. If there is something you want to do in life, don’t be afraid to do it.
What I’ve learned is that it’s not just about the running, the travel, the work, the ______ (fill in the blank) — it’s really about the journey.
