It looks like it is time to find and dust off my Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select Card!
I have a bunch of American Airlines branded credit cards from Citibank that are hiding somewhere in the back drawer collecting dust. Citibank used to fairly regularly offer spend promotions on these cards, but it’s been a while since I’ve received such an offer. I guess today’s my lucky day!
The promotion is for up to a limit of 2,500 miles (i.e., $250 spend) for online purchases (excluding restaurants, gas stations and eligible American Airlines purchases earning double miles). Since about all I’m doing these days are online purchases, this is a good deal for me.
Use the card to earn 10 AAdvantage® miles per $1 spent, up to 2,500 miles, through 04/30/2020 on eligible purchases¹ you make online.

The email I received indicates that I must activate the offer by April 27, 2020.
It is unclear to me whether online payments for utilities or insurance bills will qualify, or must the purchase be of an actual physical product?
Generally, when Citibank sends out an offer such as this, it sends out different variations of the offer, on different credit cards. Have you received a similar offer?
