We all knew it was coming. It was only a matter of time. But it still stings.
First Hyatt announced its new point structure, going from a low/medium/high point value for each category to 5 level structure going from low to higher, higher, even higher, really high to outrageously high.
Hyatt has now released its list of hotels changing categories. 136 hotels. Of those 113 are going up. There are trends, such as the loss of many category 4 hotels.
The operative date is May 20- so if your plans might include nights at any of those 113 , hurry up and book them now.
